What the Hammer Decides
In DTH drilling the hammer sits at the bottom of the hole and hits the bit directly, so its impact energy and its air efficiency decide the penetration rate of the whole rig. A hammer that wastes air on internal losses drills slower whatever the compressor behind it.

The CD series is built for fast action and high impact energy with low energy loss. Working pressure, impact frequency, rotation speed and air consumption are listed for each model on this page, so the hammer can be matched to the compressor and the rig you already run rather than the other way around.
Deep-Hole Performance
Cuttings removal is where hammers fail in deep holes: if returns are poor the bit re-drills its own cuttings and the hole slows to a stop. The CD series is designed for good cuttings removal with no easy clogging in deep-hole driving.
Maintenance
Simple maintenance and high cost-performance. The hammer is a consumable in mining and water well work, and what matters over a season is cost per metre drilled, not the price of the hammer.
