What the Swivel Does

Between the reamer and the towed product, the swivel takes the rotation out of the pull. The rotating shaft turns with the drill string while the body stays fixed, so the pipeline, duct or cable behind it is pulled without being twisted. A swivel that runs rough or binds puts that torque into the product instead.

Multi-Bearing Support

The rotating shaft is carried on a multi-bearing support structure, which keeps it stable under load instead of relying on a single bearing. That is the difference between a swivel that survives a long pull and one that has to be swapped out mid-job. High safety parameters are held across the range.

Swivels are available from 5 T to 600 T tonnage class, with maximum OD, overall length and connection type listed for each. Match the class to your rig's pullback rating, and the connection to the string you are running.
