KISN DTH drill pipe covers 3 in to 5½ in (76 mm to 140 mm) for blasthole drilling in open-pit mines, quarries and construction. Every pipe is built from high-grade tube with an integrated multi-function heat treatment, and every thread is cut on a CNC machine and checked against international standard thread gauges.
Thread Options
Four thread families are supplied — API, CUBEX, DIBH and the Z series — so the string can be matched to the hammer and the rig already on site rather than the other way around. Imperial sizes are marked per standard conversion (5¼ in = 133 mm, 5½ in = 140 mm).
Pipe-End Upsetting and Stress Relief
Pipe ends are internally upset before welding, which thickens the wall at the point of highest load and raises weld strength. After friction welding, the joint is stress-relieved. The result is a pipe that makes up and breaks out quickly and holds its quality run after run, which is what actually decides your cost per metre drilled.
