Large open-pit blasthole rigs run big pipe, and replacing a worn string size by size is a slow way to work. KISN covers the range from 114 mm to 340 mm in one series, so a mine can standardise on a single supplier for the whole fleet.
Thread Options
BECO and API threads are available. BECO is common on the larger rotary blasthole rigs, while API threads suit operations that want a standard connection. Tell us the rig and we will confirm which applies.
Built for Abrasive Ground
Blasthole strings run long hours in abrasive rock and are judged on wear life and on how straight they stay. Pipe is supplied in the wall thicknesses listed on this page, with the option of heavier walls where a mine is running especially abrasive ground.
